With so many breakthroughs in medical research focusing on individualized treatment, it make sense that this would work with chronic back pain as well. Turns out that it might not. A new study found no difference in the outcomes between those patients whose treatment was designed for them and those who received more general treatment. It appears for now, at least, all of the old-fashioned rules about treating a bad back apply to everyone equally.
