I hope that everyone has a happy and safe Fourth of July holiday. We should always be grateful for being able to live in such a prosperous and advanced nation. Billions of people around the planet would move here if they could. That said, we cannot ignore the many problems that confront us as Americans. Even after 243 years, we still confront serious issues that make life in America less than ideal.
Keep in mind, though, that no matter how bad things seem now, they have been much, much worse in our history. We have endured a great Civil War, depression, riots in our streets, and two world wars. The nation was designed to endure, and it will. No one person can bring down a country this strong.
Keep the faith in the Red, White, and Blue and know that, as always, our best days are ahead of us.
