I suppose it will come as no surprise to discover that technology has increased back and neck pain. All you need do to confirm this is look out the window. Just about everybody is holding some device in his or her head and staring down at it. This is notably true of those people under the age of 30. Which is a pity, because this is the one time in life a person can expect good back and neck health. But, the so-called “head down generation” is apparently doing themselves a good bit of harm. Not only are they staring down at a screen, they are not doing anything else. Combine a sedentary lifestyle with awkward body mechanics and guess what you get? There is probably a solution for this. As soon as I finish this next round of Candy Crush Saga, I’ll let you know.
