Two Articles Provide Insights
Recently, the New York Times published an article addressing the seven issues that their readers have asked them about. As you might expect, most of the questions pertain to retirement, not disability. That said, there is still a great deal of useful information in this article. Topics include whether Social Security is financially sound and the never-ending debate about when to take retirement benefits (answer: Age 70.)
US News And World Report also published a primer. This one is directed more specifically to Social Security disability. In it, they answer six questions about the program.
